"Lara's Theme" is the generic name given to a leitmotif written for the film Doctor Zhivago (1965) by composer Maurice Jarre.
Soon afterward, it became the basis of the song "Somewhere My Love".

昔、何度も何度も、Doctor Zhivago (1965)を観に、梅田のスカラ座に行きました。
映画を一人で見たのもそれが初めて、１９６７年？私は１８歳でしたか？
１９６５年に世界で一斉に封切られたのか、数年後に日本で封切られたのか分かりません。
満席で、立って観なければならない事も多く、座ると直ぐに席が空いているのに、痴漢が横に座る。
私は、直ぐに、一人で映画を観る事さえ出来なくなりました。
