poem by a tree for some bugs
I’m big strong tree―
see my green leaves
―I look down at the grass and say
‘I wish I was all that other green stuff too．’
The bugs come in me
because I am so much green and their favorite color
is green．
多くの虫の為の或る木による詩
僕は、ずば抜けてどっしりとした木―
この青々とした葉を見てほしい
―僕は、草地を見下ろして、言う
「僕も、あんな青いだけのものであればいいのにな。」
虫が僕に入り込むのは、
僕がとっても青々としていて、それに、彼らの好きな色は、緑色だから。
