・cloths・・「布切れ」というのは「思い」、「想像」、「葉の塊」のようなものでしょう。
・Foot・・詩脚
・under your feet・・君に服従して、君の意のままに
実際は「詩脚の支配の下に」と云う意味があります。
・spread the cloths ・・想像の断片を広げる、言葉を展開する
・Tread softly because you tread on my dreams.
君は僕の想像を踏み躙るから、音を立てずに踏んでほしい
being poorみすぼらしくなるから、むやみに韻を踏むまない方がよいと云う事だと考えます。

Yeatsの詩を翻訳していると、Yeatsが、韻を踏む事や形式に拘る事によって、詩歌がつまらなくなっている、
と考えていた事が分かります。
私も、「思い」を「布切れ」「ハンカチ」と書いた事が何度かあります。
私は、他の人の詩を全く読みませんので、真似をするという事がありません。
人の真似をして、良い事など一つもありません。
