A long time ago old Miss Daw lived in a narrow house on the edge of the town，and young Kate was her little servant.One day Kate was sent up to clean the attic windows，and as she cleaned them she could see all the meadows that lay outside the town.
昔、ド―老嬢が、町の外れのつましい家に住んでいました。そして若いケイトゥは、彼女の幼い使用人でした。或る日ケイ卜は、アティック窓を拭く為に、上に差し向けられました。そして、彼女がそれをきれいにすると、町の外に広がっている草原が、すっかり見渡せました。
